NASA has decided that Artemis II is ready to leave Earth orbit and head off toward the moon. The final spacecraft burn was complete late April 2.

Nasa are giving an update on Artemis II from the Johnson Space Center in Houston, as the spacecraft heads towards the moon.

The Artemis II mission is now out of Earth's orbit and on its way to the moon, traveling at 4,700 mph. Kris Van Cleave reports.
